Good evening, i own an Adaptec 1430SA and after following some guides here in the forum i managed to start my array, but it takes like 30 minutes to boot.

I can speed up times? it's normal ?

    No, not normal, I have several and they take a few seconds to boot.

    Did you updated the firmware or something else? Maybe I should change something in the bios, thanks for the reply

    You need the latest firmware for >2TB support, but it shouldn't change the boot time, see if there's a bios update for your board and/or try it in a different slot.

    I attached a 3tb hard drive, so it should have the firmware for >2TB support, I'll try to update the motherboard bios, sadly I have only a 16x slot
