December 16, 20178 yr I just upgraded my server, and also upgraded unraid, I was using 6 beta, now 6.3.5. If I compute disk shares it shows everything, I can browse the data it's all there. User shares shows none, and if I add any it says was deleted, I tried to go through and test the drives and look for warnings, I don't seem to see anything. I preformed a fully parity check all was ok. please let me know if there is something I am missing. syslog.txt share.cfg TV.cfg M----s.cfg G---s.cfg
December 16, 20178 yr Author so I checked out the user directory from the command line all shares are there, they just don't show up in the GUI and also are not accessible from other computers, from other computers all I can see is the Flash directory. global settings disk and user shares are on.

December 16, 20178 yr Author tried to whitelist and does not seem to make any difference. This is what I see in the GUI, my other computers see nothing but Flash, so even though it lists disk shares here none show up over the network. Edit: disk shares are hidden, but even when I change them to not hidden, I get permission errors, but user shares are just not showing up at all. Edited December 16, 20178 yr by tlieaxu

For the heck of it, can you stop the array, make a change to the global share settings, revert the change and apply and then restart to see if that makes any difference. Occasional problems IIRC going from a 6 beta to stable that solved some problems by doing that.
December 16, 20178 yr Author I did this as I thought maybe it might change it, I turned both disk and user shares off, then back on with no change.
December 16, 20178 yr Try the same on the individual share settings. There's an entry missing on some of them compared to mine. Doubt if it makes any difference, but you've got nothing to lose
December 17, 20178 yr If the suggestion of Squid doesn't work then reboot your server. For some reason the file which holds the share names in RAM is empty and it should be recreated when the server is restarted.
December 17, 20178 yr Author tried to turn off smb and nfs and back on no change. tried rebooting server no change.
