naefix
Hello, this morning I found the Dockers down on my server. When I fired up a browser on my laptop to look the unraid GUI, I could see all the expected Docker apps as up (green). I tried accessing the webgui for one of the docker apps and had access to it, although it appeared as the app had not finished loading (similar to accessing the webgui immediately after starting the respective app). Looking as if a restart of the app was needed, I tried that only to receive an unraid GUI pop up: "Server Error"... Also, all but one app disappeared from the Dashboard and none would start (still received the "Server Error"). Digging further, I can still see the disks on the main page of unraid GUI and the shares/folders/data per disk, so I believe all my data remains intact. I grabbed a diagnostics snapshot, restarted the array, and searched on the forums. I've found several threads recommending rebooting the server, so sure I can do that too. However, I think I may have a out of memory error as a cause for the down shares and docker apps and so a reboot may not solve my issues. I noticed memory errors popping up before this and without doing a thorough search in here I deleted some docker apps I no longer used thinking that would help. I am adding another diagnostics file for post array restart. I think I may have to follow the recommendations in these threads, however before I proceed, am I going in the right direction? Do I reboot first and then attempt the fix my issues with the Tips and Tricks plugin? Any pointers are welcome. Thank you in advance! tower-diagnostics-20171218-0827.zip tower-diagnostics-20171218-0928.zip Quote Link to comment
Squid
#1 - Turn off debugging on CA auto turbo. You're just spamming the log for no benefit. 20 minutes ago, naefix said: Also, all but one app disappeared from the Dashboard and none would start (still received the "Server Error"). When this happens, on the docker page, edit the application, make a change any change, revert it back and then hit Apply. Post the docker run command that appears. The "Server Error" is just a generic pop up that starting the app failed, but the docker run command will give the details as to why. But make those changes to Tips & Tweaks, reboot and then see what happens. Dynamix File Integrity ran out of memory and the OS began killing off processes, including shfs which would have made a mess of things. Quote Link to comment
naefix
Debugging turned off for CA auto turbo. Added a snapshot of the docker run command, see below. Going to proceed with Tips & Tweaks... snag.tiff Quote Link to comment
naefix
here are other snapshots of docker apps in view of the above step 2 Quote Link to comment
Squid
Its messed because of the killing off of processes. Reboot is best recourse at this point. If they don't fire back up, then post a new diagnostics Quote Link to comment
naefix
Reboot completed, docker apps are up and running, and diagnostics attached. I had changed the ratio settings (to bckgrnd.dirty - 1 and dirty - 2) wrt Tips and Tweaks prior to reboot, should I leave those settings alone at this point? tower-diagnostics-20171218-1035.zip Quote Link to comment
