FIXED (noob needs help) Unraid stopped booting after pluggin install

Featured Replies

I'm new to this whole area in the tech field but am willing to learn.

So, I installed some pluggins to my unraid computer and it was working fine. I decided to restart it and it wouldn't boot back up. All i get is a blinking     _     I already had a lot of my backup files on there but it's nothing i cant copy over again if i have to (but i dont want to). Is there any way i can reinstall unraid and get my shares back?

FIXED: I had another USB plugged into the back. The PC didn't like that... lol thanks you guys

Do you see the unRaid menu (unRaid, unRaid GUI, unRaid SafeMode, Memtest) in blue?  Does it get that far?

Is the bios set to boot from the flash drive as the first boot device?

It boots to the motherboard logo screen and i can get into the bios. The boot order is USB flash drive only. It acts like there's no OS on the flash drive but when i plug it in to my laptop i can see there's files on it.

Maybe plug the flash drive into your laptop and once more run the command to make it bootable.
