Hi there, i have 3 new drives at unraid, which i didnt assigned bc i have bad raid controller and wait for new one.

 

Now i see they didnt even spun down and were active for the last 3 days atleast doin nothing...

 

Request: Spin down unassigned drives if spindown time is reached.

    The spin-up/spin -down logic applies to devices in the array only. Unassigned devices are controlled manually, because basically they are.. unassigned.

     

    Plans exist for future development on unassigned devices though.

    Okay, so if this drives are manually, dont spin them up after restart - i guess? :D
