December 27, 20178 yr Well i have a Windows 10 VM Setup. It is running off a ssd drive and fully functional. I would love to have an offline Backup of my Onedrive files and guessed, Windows would be the best tool to use. Sadly enough, Onedrive an not be "installed" on a mounted network drive. I had it running off an USB Drive, but since then i got my hands on a new internat drive whick would be my preffered location for my files. How can i access a single internal drive with my VM? Thanks for the help
December 27, 20178 yr have you tried creating a second disk image for the VM, but on the array not the SSD? If it's just for onedrive backup, the speed should be ok. Or, if you want to assign a whole drive, use UD.
December 28, 20178 yr Author well that answer (vdisk on array) was way to obvious to ocurr to me I thought about UD but i have no idea how to assign the whole drive ... even though i don't really need it (will go with te Array) it would be good to know how to do it
December 28, 20178 yr To assign a whole drive choose 'manual' for the new vdisk location and enter the name of the disk e.g /dev/sdx https://youtu.be/QaB9HhpbDAI
