December 28, 20178 yr Help both my parity 8tb seagate NAS drives started having read errors around 5pm,today the drives are fine with no smart errors after short test I was writing to the array so is it they lost sync with data drives as its surely unlikely to be both the parity disks, ive attached sys log suggestions should i pre clear discs again to get unraid to accept them or how do i get it back up and running ? Cheers Sven tower-syslog-20171228-2144.zip
December 28, 20178 yr Community Expert Looks like both disks share a mini SAS cable, if so it's worth checking or replacing it. To re-sync parity stop the array, unassign both disks, start the array, stop again, re-assign both, start the array to begin parity sync. P.S. on v6 always post the complete diagnostics: Tools -> Diagnostics
