Hello All,

 

I was wondering if the LSI 9201-16e needs to be flashed to IT mode to work.  I see a guide for the LSI 9201-16i but not the e.  As far as i can tell the e just represents that the ports are external.  I just want to confirm this before I go wiping firmware and flashing it to IT mode.   The reason I am asking is I tried to just plug in my external SAS Expander (Supermicro CSE-216) and no drives were recognized. I am trying to narrow down the issue.
