Clean install on every boot and WebGUI not starting on boot up

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I am new to UnRaid and working on moving some services to it. Once I got it working I put Plex on it with a few videos and everything worked great. I had to leave for a few days so I shut it down. When I booted it back up it acted like a new install. I reinstalled Plex and a few other things and let it run for about a week. After I was happy that there were no hiccups I restarted and saw the same problem as before. I am using a trial key if that matters. Each shutdown was done through the WebGUI, I assume that will stop/unmount drives properly.

Another smaller issue is the WebGUI does not start on boot up. I need to console in and give it "nohup /usr/local/sbin/emhttp &".

Any help on either of these issues would be much appreciated.

Dec 29 16:29:54 Tower kernel: FAT-fs (sda1): Can't find a valid FAT filesystem

Is the flash formatted as FAT32?  Is it labelled UNRAID?

Yes to both. I can get a clean boot. Should I try another flash drive?

That and maybe a different controller (USB2 preferred)
