Is this normal?

Featured Replies

Hi guys...

I just finished building my new UnrRaid Server and started moving files on it yesterday...

I used the setting "High water" for my Backup-share and thought it will fill up each harddisk till its maximum (-50GB because i told it to do so)... but unlike my thought it filled it up the way as seen in the attached picture. The file-copy isn't over yet... i guess it will take another 10-12 hours from now and i think it will fill up all other empty drives the same way too?!...

Is this normal? Maybe i forgot an initial setting? Any tips?

btw, don't bother... i removed the parity drive for copying (about 12TB) and will assign it later back on.

and sorry for my weak english, i'm from Austria :)

It's normal for high-water, use fill-up if you want to complete fill a drive before moving to the next one.
