write corrections to parity won't stay off

Checked with Safari and Chrome. In both cases the setting resets to On when the page is refreshed.

That's normal, you usually only uncheck it before starting the parity check.

Which setting controls write corrections after an unclean shutdown?

  • Community Expert

It's automatically disabled after an unclean shutdown for that check.

Is that right nowadays? It used to be an unclean shutdown would cause parity check WITH correction on array start, I've not checked it but interested if that is the case.

Yes, it was changed on v6.2
