Hi

I forgot to use a trailing slash in the 'rsync -avPX /mnt/disk1/ /mnt/disk20/' command,

as a result I created a root share..

What can I do?

Move all the contents from the new subdirectory into root?

The parity should be valid, right?

The problem is that the disk now has

/Apps

/appdata

/disk1

--/appdata

--/Apps

--/other-shares..

There is docker info in these Apps, appdata folders.. how do I trash and overwrite the newly created (empty) folders in the root?

Can I do that without stopping the array?

  • Community Expert

Just overwrite them, docker service should be stopped.

A specific docker service I use (crashplan), or is there some global setting?

Thanks for your help!

You can stop all dockers or the docker service.
