May 24, 201016 yr Sorry if this is a noob question. I setup a new 3 disk array and started the parity-sync only to find out that one of the disks was bad. I stopped the sync, did a preclear on all of my disks to ensure the rest were ok and now I'm trying to resetup the array again with 3 disks (not using the bad one) but it seems the system still thinks the 1st 3 disks are configured. I've set all the disks to unassigned but they still show up on the Main page. How can I clear this config? Screenshot of the Main page attached Thanks! -Mike
May 24, 201016 yr Log in at the system console (or via telnet) and type: initconfig Then refresh your browser. A new initial configuration will be set base on your currently assigned and working drives. When you subsequently start the array parity will be initially calculated on the new configuration. (running initconfig immediately invalidates any prior parity calculations) Joe L.
