Can I just upgrade or downgrade?

 

Basically I just added a new drive, and my 1 other drive is now reporting unformatted, along with my new drive.

Dont press the format button.

 

It would be best to upgrade to 4.5.4 and then restart.

For this instance...

 

Press "Stop", wait a second or two, press "Start"

With any luck, only the new drive will then show as unformatted.  If ONLY the new drive shows "unformatted" you may press the format button.

 

Then, upgrade to 4.5.4 before you add more drives.
