My array dropped offline last night

Featured Replies

First time that's ever happened.  Thinking it might be a problem with this new LSI 9300-8i, or maybe with the expander backplane??.  Chassis and HBA is still really new, only like a few weeks old.

I rebooted my server and now everythings back but there's obviously something going on that's not right.

Attached is diagnostics that I downloaded before reboot. It shows everything dropped offline.   Can someone please look at this.

Thank you!

Looks like an HBA issue, it dropped offline, check if it's well seated or try a different slot if available:

I will, thank you.  If this keeps happening would you say it's a faulty card?  Do you think flashing this card without the bios would help anything?

If it happens again in a different slot probably the HBA

It shoudln't make any difference, bios is used for boot only.
