February 6, 201313 yr Just wanted to say thanks for this plugin! One request though, could we get an update w/ the latest pytivo build? Last month wmcbrine pushed an update that transfers full metadata. http://pytivo.sourceforge.net/forum/every-file-is-a-tivo-file-now-t2041.html I get somewhat OCD about metadata, and this would be awesome!

February 7, 201313 yr Just wanted to say thanks for this plugin! That post was from Jan 2012, last year. The version of pytivo in the plugin is from Oct 2012.
February 8, 201313 yr I haven't gone completely away. I have updated the plugin, it installs without error and it works on a minimal install I have set up on just a flash drive. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/40493373/pyTivo-2013-02-07.plg Updates: Lucasnz fork hasn't been updated in a month so this now pulls the latest wmcbrine from git. This should make this plg a bit more future proof. If you want to upgrade to the latest version, stop the pytivo daemon, backup your pytivo.conf to /boot/config/plugins/pyTivo/pyTivo.conf (should already happen when stopping the daemon but double check), delete /usr/local/pyTivo, delete /boot/config/plugins/pyTivo/pytivo.zip and reinstall the plg. Or, if the default pytivo install location is still on the flash drive, just delete /boot/config/plugins/pyTivo/pytivo.zip and reboot. (I think I got this right but I've forgotten a lot). ffmpeg updated to latest static build
December 20, 201312 yr I wanted to play with this and the last plugin wouldn't download. I had to update the ffmpeg download to get this to install. Thought I'd share. Sorry it's the 2012 one and not the latest one. Ugh!!! And I can't upload a plg. Try this zip. pyTivo-2012-11-08-2125_pinion.plg.zip
December 20, 201312 yr I probably should have cross posted this here before but don't use any of the plugins you find in this thread. A much better version that supports auto updating everything, the plugin, either pyTivo branch (wmcbrine or lucasnz) and FFMPEG, is available here: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=26349.msg230349#msg230349
