dsmitty166
Hey all, I have been having issues with unRAID not seeing all of my drives at times. It appears especially true after doing a version update. I'm currently running 6.3.5 after being on the beta and updating today. I have had this issue before, and it seemed that re flashing my boot drive fixed it, not this time. I can't get all my drives to come up. As you can see in the screenshot, there are a couple drives up, so it's seeing the HBA, but no idea why I can't see the rest of the drives. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Is my HBA toast and I need to order a replacement? Attaching the syslog as well. Details: Supermicro 24 bay chassis LSI 9220-8i HBA (running P20 firmware)(I've tried various older versions as well. syslog.txt tower-diagnostics-20180106-1942.zip Edited January 7, 2018 by dsmitty166 Quote Link to comment
dsmitty166
After a reboot, notice now it sees only disk 6, not 4 and 8 as before. Quote Link to comment
dsmitty166
It appears to be the case that this is due to my backplane and expander being on SAS1, and having issues with > 4TB drives. Weird that it's worked for 2 years as is. 1.5 years on windows and the rest on unRAID. I have a new backplane coming, hopefully that fixes the issues. Quote Link to comment
