Unable to select new drive

Featured Replies

Hi

I am trying to replace an old IDE 200GB drive in my unRaid setup with a nice new 1TB drive.

I followed the steps here http://tinyurl.com/2vhr452 up until point 4.  I've physically removed the old drive, physically added the new drive, booted the unRaid server, gone to the Devices page, I can see where my old disk used to be, it now says "no device".  I can click on the drop down and can choose from "no device", "unassigned" or my new drive.

So far so good.  Except whatever I choose from the list, the page reloads and it says "no device" again :(

I can see my new drive listed, but I can't select it :(

Please can someone help me.

Thanks

Kevin

Post a syslog.  Odds are something is up with the new drive, but we have no way to tell from what you just said.

Instructions on how to capture a syslog are in the wiki under troubleshooting.  The wiki link is in my signature line.
