Swampy
Recently I took the plunge and built a server for my self and my son. I have had good luck getting everything work with the exception of the video after WOL command. I can putty to the server and all is well. If it use the terminal there is no signal to monitor for either of the servers. One server has a new PCI-express video card while the other is an old PCI diamond card. Both have the same issue. I have read an old thread of a script called s3_notHrHdTcpIp.sh (posted by Kicker I think) which some users have had good luck with. I tried the link which must be out dated because I would go into an endless loop of unwanted ads one I selected the download link. Can someone re_post this and possibly give detailed instruction on how to install it? Thanks in advance for the help, Swampy Link to comment
bubbaQ
Tis is a common issue with s3. You need to use s2ram.... search the forums for it. Link to comment
Swampy
I am a newbie at best and have spent a number of hours going on tangents with this. Just to come to bad/dead links or outdated info. I have however found something on Wiki for SDB:Suspend to RAM. Which may work but.....a real problem I have is not knowing how to install anything unless it is conducted thru unMENU. I know...look it up (install). Is this what I am looking for? Thanks Link to comment
