Unraid 4.5.4 unable to add shares

Featured Replies

Hi, I am just getting started with unRAID and I installed the free version last night. Added a brand new parity drive, and two existing ntfs drives with data on them already. I am having a few problems:

I am unable to modify the "user shares". If i populate a field and submit the page, it acts like nothing ever happened and doesn't add the share, nor report an error. I have added a user, but this still does not seem to work properly.

I figured this was just a limitation of the free version, so I upgraded to pro, and added another drive (also ntfs) but I continue to have the same problem. Any ideas?

Those drives are not added to your array.

Drives within unRAID must be formatted as REISERFS with a single partition starting at sector 63 and extending the entire size of the drive. The easiest way to have this done is via the emhttp management console. When this occurs, all the data on the drives are wiped. You will lose any and all data already on the drives.
