June 16, 201016 yr Hello, I am copying over my pictures and movies (taken using Canon A710 camera). For 144 (of the 851) movie files MVI_xxxx.avi I get the following message in windows (not exact wording): "Some files have properties that cannot be copied do you want to copy the files without the properties?" What does this mean and why?
June 16, 201016 yr It means you didn't provide us with enough information. What is the EXACT WORDING? What is the source system? PC? Mac? Which OS? XP? Vista? Vista SP#? Win7? How are you copying files? SMB? NFS? AVHI? What program are you using? Explorer? Filer? RSYNC? FTP? It could be the files are marked with special attributes, like system / hidden / archived / read-only or perhaps you rated the movie clip (3 stars, 4 stars, favorite, etc). It's hard to tell without you providing information.
