Registration Key not Working

Featured Replies

Last month on 12/21/17 I downloaded a trial copy of unRAID and burned to it a USB thumb drive. I was planning to test this are several server hardware platforms. Today I tried for the 1st time a new server. So I burned the previous downloaded unRAID trail copy to the same USB thumb drive to give me a "fresh" install. Booted up unRAID on the new server and pasted in the previously used Trial Key in the registration field. unRAID however is not acknowledging the trail key. I tried also pasting the URL key to the config directory on the thumb drive but it still is not being accepted. I've verified that my system clock is correct, I also checked my network setting and confirmed that my local DNS server is defined with 8.8.8.8 as my secondary DNS server and finally I've also verified that the GUID of my thumb drive is the same as listed in my email from Lime Technology last month for my trial copy. Would really appreciate any assistance with this...thus far I've been very happy with the evaluation. Just recently I installed my first Docker applications along with setting up a Plex server. I'd really like to get this working before my trial runs out in 10 days. Thanks for any assistance offered.

Figured it out. Looks like by pasting the Trial Key into the config directory worked but it required a reboot in order for the system to acknowledge that...still not sure why pasting the key into the registration field didn't work but my testing can continue.
