Random apcupsd disconnects from USB UPS

Featured Replies

I will randomly get email alerts saying unRAID is connected with the UPS again. I never get disconnect messages, but when I look in the log it was only "Disconnected" for seconds, and then right back up again.

Another IRL friend has the same issue as well, and uses the same UPS (or very similar Tripp-Lite model at least).

Screenshot of my APC UPS Daemon settings attached, and this is the email I get as well

Event: unRAID Server Alert
Subject: UPS Alert
Description: Communications restored with UPS Server
Importance: alert

The the log file shows the disconnected seconds before the communication restored notice gets emailed.

Is there a way to have it wait a short period of time before re-alerting me that the communication with the UPS is lost or something?

Thanks!

I get similar messages.  I haven't managed to figure anything out yet.
