I like the rest of your recommendation but personally I wouldn't do that.  4GB is fine for a basic NAS but 2GB is cutting it unnecessarily close to the basic requirements.  And it isn't going to save you that much.  Also, 4GB would let you run a Docker or two - the G4560 could easily handle that if you give it a bit of RAM to work with.

This is probably right, for a cheapskate like me  it got me by - but its barely enough for the upgrade process. in todays world a 4GB is probably the smallest you want for a new mobo

 

Yeah I would say 4GB minimum really.
