January 14, 20188 yr Since ive updated the server 1( i have two). It will not show up in the networks like before. The other one is still showing up just fine. Ive tried the old trusty google search but havent found any direct info on what is happening directly to mine. The only way i get it to show up is if i do the \\IPOFSERVER and it will bring up all the shares i have. I honestly just wanna reformat everything and start as if it was a fresh box but ran into a small problem because of the KEYS. I have two but only been able to find the email to one.. so if i could get some guidance to help come up with a course of action in how to go about fixing the problems. maybe there is a cmd i could put in to reset it all?
January 14, 20188 yr The .key file is on the USB stick of each server, so you can pull it from there if you want to start over. Are you trying to preserve your data as you start over?
January 20, 20188 yr Author i backed up all data to a external drive. I did the reset with a fresh install. But it still not coming up on the network unless i manually do \\ipaddress.
