goofygrin
Just wanted to throw out there that this motherboard ($55 at newegg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128033) works great so far. Onboard lan worked right out of the gate. Still syncing my first array, but so far so good! Quote Link to comment
William
On the Gigabyte site it has the following warning. 1. Due to different Linux support condition provided by chipset vendors, please download Linux driver from chipset vendors' website or 3rd party website. 2. Due to most hardware/software vendors no longer offer support for Win9X/ME. If some vendors still has Win9X/ME drivers available, we will publish on website. Could this be a problem because I'm looking at getting this MB? Quote Link to comment
limetech
Usually this means you need newer versions of linux kernel which have the chipset support built-in. unRAID 4.0 is based on 2.6.20, and next release will be based on 2.6.21 - can't get much newer than that. Quote Link to comment
