neurocis
rootfs is reporting full???, webui does not load array info, flips from array undefined to array started ... diag attached. Totally useless release. Nevermind, can't even attach to get the diag file ... Can't produce diag from the webui ... root@QUAZAR:~# df Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on rootfs 4004944 4004940 4 100% / tmpfs 32768 496 32272 2% /run devtmpfs 4004960 0 4004960 0% /dev tmpfs 4079844 0 4079844 0% /dev/shm cgroup_root 8192 0 8192 0% /sys/fs/cgroup tmpfs 131072 5008 126064 4% /var/log /dev/sda1 31250400 1041664 30208736 4% /boot /dev/loop0 7552 7552 0 100% /lib/modules /dev/loop1 4608 4608 0 100% /lib/firmware /dev/sdi1 123019584 70343280 52676304 58% /mnt/disks/SanDisk_SDSSDP128G_144791401856 /dev/md1 2930266532 2605170200 324130584 89% /mnt/disk1 /dev/md2 1465138552 731207632 732281424 50% /mnt/disk2 /dev/md3 488386552 16848 487324352 1% /mnt/disk3 /dev/md4 488386552 205660 487135764 1% /mnt/disk4 /dev/md5 1953514552 1220345776 732033312 63% /mnt/disk5 /dev/md6 1953514552 1209564380 742130020 62% /mnt/disk6 shfs 9279207292 5766510496 3505035456 63% /mnt/user So looks like all drives are mounted except cache. No shares available. Some Log: Nevermind, can't cut and paste log out of the window ... OK this is very frustrating and not what I have come to expect from unRAID over my 7 years using it. bonienl
The diagnostics is all empty files. Regarding your cache device. Did you use UD and formatted the disk with it before turning it to cache device? Ps. Try starting in safemode Edited January 16, 2018 by bonienl Quote Link to comment
neurocis
I cannot recall if I used UD or not, this is my primary unRAID and been around for years. Will try safemode if some other avenues fail (as this is a headless machine). Can one set the next reboot to be safe mode via a flag somewhere? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
bonienl
You need to take out the flash device and put it in your PC. Edit the file /syslinux/syslinux.cfg and move the line menu default under the section safemode. default menu.c32 menu title Lime Technology, Inc. prompt 0 timeout 50 label unRAID OS kernel /bzimage append initrd=/bzroot label unRAID OS GUI Mode kernel /bzimage append initrd=/bzroot,/bzroot-gui label unRAID OS Safe Mode (no plugins, no GUI) menu default kernel /bzimage append initrd=/bzroot unraidsafemode label unRAID OS GUI Safe Mode (no plugins) kernel /bzimage append initrd=/bzroot,/bzroot-gui unraidsafemode label Memtest86+ kernel /memtest The above will let unRAID start in safemode without plugins and GUI. neurocis
OK, safe mode likes me so it's got to be a plugin (FYI I nano'd the syslinux.cfg via the webgui terminal, that new feature I DO LIKE VERY MUCH). Just reformatted my cache drive & copying its data back to it now. Once cache copies I will reboot and then tomorrow pick this up again and determine which plugin ... I have a diag from before that may have the plugins listed ... quazar-diagnostics-20180107-1854.zip Quote Link to comment
bonienl
Known plugins which may cause problems are: - Preclear - S3 sleep Best to uninstall these plugins for the time being. Quote Link to comment
