July 7, 201015 yr I am ordering this mobo this week, when I get it is there anything special I need to set in the bios?
July 9, 201015 yr I cannot remember setting anything special other then boot order and perhaps the threshold of when you want the fans to kick in.
July 9, 201015 yr You may need to set your USB flash drive as the boot device (if it doesn't do it automatically). Other than that, pretty standard BIOS options.
July 14, 201015 yr Set booting from USB HDD and then you will see the USB Flash, as it is formatted like a HDD and wont be seen otherwise. So, booting from USB HDD has to be included in the boot from options along the other (I think one can specify 8 boot devices). This board won't go into S3 and also the fan RPM can't be controlled by software as the BIOS controls them all the time (automatically), regardless if you use 3-pin or 4-pin PWM fans. Other than that a fantastic board.
