High CPU /usr/local/sbin/shfs /mnt/user -disk

Featured Replies

Well after a few hours, its still high CPU.

Looks like a developing issue:

Latest update to the folder caching plugin appears to have fixed the issue for myself.

Was having this issue since had updated to iirc version "2020.08.01a". After updated to "2020.08.03" just now, the CPU problem disappears.

Had exactly the same issue as described above, in my case none of the solutions mentioned here helped. It was jDownloader2 container. Once removed all got back to normal.

Tip from me is to fire up htop, and close one container after another, and observe cpu usage in real time. This helped in my case. Reinstalling  jdownloader and all is good now,

Got the CPU usage down from 40%isht to less than 5%ish while running some gimmicks by excluding

  • appdata
  • domains
  • system
  • and especialy disabling Scan user shares (/mnt/user)

in Folder Caching on 6.9.1. I have to admit that the plugin ran since HDD swap and cache rebuild, so a reboot might fixed the high CPU usage. Yet I prefer proper settings to a reboot.
