Cannot access gui on android after 6.4 update and enabling ssl

Just upgraded my server to unraid 6.4 and enabled ssl.  Everything is working fine on my windows vm when I try to go to the ip of my server, it redirects to <mysubdomain>.unraid.net which is the expected behaviour, but when I try the same on my phone (android) it says it can't be reached.  This is an issue as the windows vm is my main desktop, so I need to be able to access the gui from my phone if the array is offline.  How can I fix this?

    Chrome (Android)
    1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
    2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
    3. Adjust your preference.
    Chrome (Desktop)
    1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
    2. Select Site settings.
    3. Find Notifications and adjust your preference.
