January 19, 20188 yr Have two servers, updated both to 6.4. One works fine, one is lost, static ips. one wont show? Now both have disappeared!
January 19, 20188 yr Community Expert Provide a few more details. What disappeared--- GUI, SMB/NFS, SSH access? Can you ping the servers? Anything on a monitor connected to the server(s)?
January 19, 20188 yr Author Thanks for the reply, I now have one server working again. But the other is still down. I ping from my windows computer. cmd.exe, then ping, and receive Destination host unreachable on the server that is down. Any thoughts?
January 19, 20188 yr Author I did trace route and received the same. "Destination host unreachable" C:\Users\bradm>tracert 192.168.0.90 Tracing route to 192.168.0.90 over a maximum of 30 hops 1 DESKTOP-UR0NJPU.Home [192.168.0.13] reports: Destination host unreachable. Trace complete.
January 19, 20188 yr Community Expert Connect a monitor to the server and see what is on the screen. IF you have a login prompt, do so and type diagnostics on the command line. That will write the diagnostics file to the logs directory/folder on your flash drive. Upload with a new post
January 19, 20188 yr Author I attached monitor, only thing displayed was a blinking - , so i did a hard stop and restart. Attached is the diagnostics. FYI. With the reboot I have access to the server via web browser. I have tried to compare the two servers and it seems all information and settings are the same between the two? I know that this server will disconnect once again if i do a reboot on my windows machine. Thanks again. tower9tb-diagnostics-20180119-1013.zip
January 19, 20188 yr Community Expert Before you lose access, check to see that all of your plugins, Dockers and VM's are up to date. You might also want to read through this post: https://lime-technology.com/forums/topic/66327-unraid-os-version-640-stable-release-update-notes/ This may seem really stupid to ask, but each server does have its own unique IP address and there is no other device on the network which has the same address? Should it happen again, install the 'Fix Common Problem' plugin and turn on the 'Troubleshooting mode'. That will update the syslog periodically (I believe it is about every fifteen minutes) in the logs directory of the flash drive.) The reason for doing this is that there should have been a lot more on that screen than a blinking cursor...
January 19, 20188 yr Author No other IP address, each has a static address. I have started the "Troubleshooting mode". I will send inf when I obtain. Thanks
January 20, 20188 yr I am having this same issue. Brand new install, drives added & initialized (Web UI). After arbitrary time it simply disappears. IP no longer ping-able from any device. Restart fixes it till next "Lockup" ?!?
January 20, 20188 yr Community Expert @michael123 @stormec I hope you are doing what was suggested to the OP as me-too's responses without any action are not very helpful.

January 20, 20188 yr Author I did perform the following as was described above and it seems to have helped. (Fingers crossed.) THANKS! Before you upgrade Read the first post in the release notes thread Upgrade all your plugins (other than the main unRAID OS plugin) Consider uninstalling the S3 Sleep plugin (see this), the Preclear plugin (see this, this, this, this, this), unmenu (see this), the Pipework docker (see this), and any other plugins you no longer use. Consider installing the Fix Common Problems plugin and resolving any issues it highlights
