kernel:unregister_netdevice: waiting for lo to become free. Usage count = 1

Featured Replies

I get this message (`kernel:unregister_netdevice: waiting for lo to become free. Usage count = 1`) quite often when I'm with an open shell to the machine.

Is this something I should be worried about? What does it mean and what could be causing it? A quick search in Google tells it can be related to Docker, however, at this moment I'm running the array in maintenance mode (which I believe it disables Docker) and I still get the message.

Its a nuisance, (especially since it shows up on every terminal), but it is harmless.  The later you go in unRaid (your sig states unRaid 6.1.9) the less it seems to happen.  (I can't remember seeing it on 6.3, and have never seen it on any of the 6.4's)
