unRAID 6.4 UEFI and GPU Passthrough Questions.

Featured Replies

So, I'm looking at shifting my unRAID server to a new mobo which has UEFI mode available. I'd like to know is it worth it? I read that during the rc there was some issues with VM's as it would load a graphics menu on the GPU.

In any case, how would one go about enabling UEFI on unRAID with a flash that was updated to 6.4? I feel there could be an issue with the partitions on it.

On a semi related topic, this mobo would work with two GPU's nicely. Is it possible to give both to vm's without to much hassle? The mobo doesn't have an onboard, and I've heard there can be issues as unRAID will normally reserve the first GPU.
