May 17, 200719 yr http://shop4.outpost.com/search?cat=-48954&pType=pDisplay All SATA 3.0Gb/sec - I purchased the 300GB Seagate for $70 (I bought five of them). They also have a 300GB Maxtor for $60 and a 750GB for $200. All three include shipping and are very good prices for retail boxed drives (i.e. includes cables). Fry's tends to change their prices frequently, so if you are in the market for drives, use the above URL to see their current SATA retail internal drives. Bill

May 19, 200719 yr the 500 gigger is $100 shipped (plus tax if you're local). I just bought one yesterday there for $110 (119 after tax). Wondering if I should take it back or keep it (I bought one online today)... I got room in the server :-D
May 23, 200719 yr Author Woohoo! Got my 300GB drives yesterday, opened them up and they shipped the 7200.10, not the 7200.9 I paid for. Yes, I take great pleasure in the small things in life. Bill Clarification: This is a Seagate issue, not Fry's - Fry's sent the correct boxes to me, but they contained the updated drives. Apparently Seagate ran out of the old drives but had demand for them so they part substituted - a legitimate activity.
