July 22, 201015 yr The faq hardware page looks like it was written a while ago as most all the hardware on it is out of production/stock everywhere I have looked. Does anybody have specific (replacement) model numbers or suggestions? Thanks p.s. For me specifically I am looking for a case and Mobo...none of the current Lian Li cases I have seen have the room/spaces of the models shown on the LT website and most all server cases I have found are horizontal not vertical towers (which is what I need).

Your question is sort of vague and open ended. What type of cases and mobo's do you prefer? What have you looked at? Otherwise, listing out 100's of mobo's and any number of cases is the answer. And noone will answer that.
July 23, 201015 yr Author I would like the mobo and case suggestions to be as close as possible to the build LT uses for the MD-1510 servers i.e.: Supermicro C2SEA motherboard Lian Li PC-A17B case with Supermicro CSE-M35T-1B drive cages Lian Li PC-K12B case with Supermicro CSE-M35T-1B drive cages

July 23, 201015 yr i'm curious.....if the drive cages you want run about ~$100 a piece, why not get a norco 4220 right off the bat and have an easier setup? No additional cages needed. not a critique, just a question.

July 23, 201015 yr also, the norco is quite large and extremely loud without modifying or replacing the fans
July 26, 201015 yr Author Thanks for the help guys, I ended up going cheap (for now) and went with this case: AZZA CSAZ-910R ATX Helios 910R SECC Mid Tower Case It was $74.99 (free s&h) at zipzoomfly and has a $30 rebate so $44.99. It has a lot of nice features and 9 front external 5.25 drive bays (I'll just disconnect the lights). Thanks again. Dennis
July 26, 201015 yr Looks like a nice case, Denzo. Quite similar to the CM 590, but looks a bit nicer and it is actually cheaper after the rebate. Good find! Newegg actually has the blue version for $42.99 after shipping and rebate: AZZA Helios 910 Black Japanese SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
