Thank you for this. it finally ran. I have been trying since last night. I did miss this part or rather didn't understand it well enough. At least I am getting errors now that are channel related.

good, may as note, the writer of webgrab+ is also helpful, he is active in his forum in case you hang now with your setup

Is the container shipped with the beta patch? It hasn't worked for me for quite some time now and my log file states 3.2.1.0

Got any updates on it ?

I'm experiencing the same, but I can open the console and run the update script via cmd within the container just fine.

Hello guys,

can you please update the docker to 3.2.2 ?

Because the license check failed and webgrab doesnt run anymore.

Thanks

Thats the mail from Jan the developer of webgrabb i got

Quote

That’s a problem I fear , you can’t change anything in Mono , or can you? V3.2.1 needs Mono_complete 6.12.0.122 and won’t work with Mono_devel 6.12.0.122 because that misses the latest .NET assemblies. And looking at your results, it crashes because of that.
The best advice I have is to try to convince the docker guys to upgrade to 3.2.2 or to fix that Mono issue.

As a workaround I've created a cron job in user scripts with the below

docker exec -d webgrabplus /defaults/update.sh

If the container is updated the license must be forced manually the first time.

Hmm...

Honestly the whole WebgrabPlus + TVHeadend stack is a pain in the butt.

It's absolutely ridiculous that getting IPTV served up in your home actually causes more friction that using a hardware tuner for DVB-S/C/T...

Hi all,

I've update a RUN of this unraid-docker, but unfortunately, don't know howto publish on Community Applications (aka CA)

docker run -d \
  --name='webgrabplus' \
  --hostname=webgrabplus \
  --mac-address=XX:XY:ZZ:YY:00:99 \
  --net='bridge' \
  -e HOST_OS="Unraid" \
  -e 'TZ'='XYOURS/YYOURS' \
  -e 'PUID'='99' \
  -e 'PGID'='100' \
  -e 'UMASK'='022' \
  -v '/mnt/user/appdata/example-xteve/data/':'/data':'rw' \
  -v '/mnt/user/appdata/webgrabplus/config/':'/config':'rw' \
  --restart unless-stopped \
  lscr.io/linuxserver/webgrabplus:latest

personalize with TZ, '/data' PATH, I write directly into xteve data directory in this example, and RUN, that's all!

you also just could map a path from the xteve container to the webgrab+ data path instead instead ... thats nothing worth to make a seperate publish to CA i would assume ... think about it if all would publish their personal preferences in CA ... which one to choose would be ...

sample

like this you reach the webgrab output inside xteve as path /webgrab/....

Greatday, trying to install the latest (beta) version aka 5.0.1 onto my Synology DS3617+ with DSM7.

Docker installs perfect, getting message to update DOTNET CORE Runtime to version 6.0.0

Unfortunaly it seems i'm not able to get this done.

Would be great if someone could point me out how to upgrade DotNet from 5 to 6.

Thanks !

Hi,

I try to install the Webgrabplus docker, but it fails on install.

Does anyone know what I do wrong?

webgrabplus.png

EDIT:

If i delete "Extra Parameters" option "--mac-address=00:00:00:00:00:00" it will install, but then NO network is available.

Any ideas on how I can fix this, or any parameters I need set?

For anyone (like me) who was still trying to install this:

Its very easy to fix the command failed error just edit "--mac-address=00:00:00:00:00:00" field with your mac address that you find in your network settings. Then it will install and start, but i still didnt got it to work. Shame the support is in Discord as i dislike chats.
