Hello!

 

Has anyone tried and accomplished to install zerotier software inside unraid? 

 

I love how this software works creating a huge network outside your house but i cant install it in unraid.

 

Could you please help me ? Thanks

I too would love to see this as a docker or plugin...my unRaid system is currently sitting behind a Carrier Grade NAT and I'm looking for solutions to make it remotely accessible.

Easiest way to get remote access in a situation like that is to rely on a third party solution, like teamviewer or logmein. You can set up a basic windows VM with no passthrough, just VNC, and set up teamviewer in host mode. Set the VM to autostart, and remote in to it to manage your network.

 

There are theoretically other ways to accomplish remote access through NAT, but none that I know of that don't have a reliance on a connection made from inside to a system outside the NAT.

I made a docker for ZeroTier, published to Community Applications.

Support thread: 

You need just to specify a Network ID in docker parameters.

I've been loving this service and app. Thanks for creating it. I have recently had issues where file browsing or http interaction no longer connects as it once did. I can ping the server remotely, but not access any services. Has anyone lese hit this wall? How can I resolve?
