What is the best way to transfer my music from the a hard drive to the server?  I have one 500 gig drive in the server now and I have about 300 gigs of music on another 500 gig drive.  If I copy everything over to the server on the 500 gig drive than have iTunes create a new library and organize it will that work or will it try and recopy everything which means I would run out of space?

So if I am understanding this, I change the location to unraid than check the box the says consolidate and that should copy everything there?

Protip: Don't use itunes.  Foobar and songbird are much better alternatives.

thanks but I like iTunes. I have an iPod, iPad and two Macs plus two PCs. iTunes just makes it easy to keep everything updated
