January 23, 20188 yr I recently updated to 6.4 and immediately started receiving warning messages about my Samsung 960 PRO 512GB (nvme0n1) cache overheating. I had been running version 6.35 for almost a year without any issues. While I have had my HDDs exceed 45 C on occasion, I have never received a warning message for the cache and don't even remember it's nominal temperature. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. tower-diagnostics-20180123-1224.zip

Since NVMe temps didn't work on v.6.3.5 it's normal to not get any warning, NVMe devices get pretty hot on writes, IIRC max temp for the 960 Pro is 75C, so just adjust the temps for that device by clicking on cache, also having some airflow around it is never bad.
January 23, 20188 yr Author Okay that would explain it. Max temp is spec'd at 70C, so I will change my settings accordingly. Thank you!!!
