Call traces found on server

Featured Replies

Fix common problems is reporting that call traces have been found. I looked at the syslog but I couldn't interpret what the call trace was. Any help is appreciated!

System:

Unraid 6.4

Xeon E3-1231v3

2x 8GB ECC DDR3

7x HGST 4TB HDDs

1x WD RED 8TB HDD

Samsung 250GB SSD (cache)

It looks like your call trace is similar (perhaps identical) to one recorded in my syslog which occurred every 4-6 hours.  The call trace appeared after I had assigned an IP address to a docker.  Have you done that?  Removing the docker IP address assignment made the call trace go away.  Obviously, removing IP address assignment should not be the solution for those that want/need this functionality.

In my case, the call trace did not appear to affect system performance or functionality, but, I felt I should correct the cause until I know more about why it is happening.

I did assign IPs to some of my dockers after upgrading to 6.4 (I basically had to in order to get the SSL cert for the webui) That's interesting that it's causing these call traces to happen.

I started a thread about this in the same forum specifically stating that I had traced the call traces to docker IP address assignment.  There have been no comments. Perhaps it is because more than simply assigning an IP address is necessary.

Perhaps there is more to be done and I need to follow the guide published by boniel here:
