Hi,

what does unraid do if hdds/sdds get too hot?

 

I need to move them in the case, but im just curios, what does unraid do if the hdds get to hot (manufacturs say 0-60°)

 

Will it throttle down?

 

Will they just turn into a firestorm?

 

Yes i have auto fan spin plugin, which is working fine, they just bad placed... need to arrange them asap.

Go to Disk Settings. You can set the global warning and alert levels for disk temperature. You can also override this setting for individual disks on the settings page for each disk.

Yeah. I have, but what does it do? besides showing it to me -.-

There is no other action besides warnings and alerts, user intervention is expected.
