Featured Replies

Hi,

I am wondering what software you guys using to play blu-ray on windows7. I will connect it to my tv via hdmi. I hear there is no free application that can play blu-ray smoothly.

I need to go with win7 since there are some application that only run windows.

Regards,

BW

Do you mean BluRay discs, BluRay images, or BluRay encodes?  I use MPC-HD to play BluRay encodes, but I don't play full sized discs at all.

I mean blu-ray disc.

Well, MPC-HC (I typoed in my previous post) is free, so you might as well give it a shot.  Here's the linky:

And if you want the full package (saves you the trouble of manually installing codecs), use CCCP (which includes MPC-HC):

OK Thanks a bunch!

I will give it a try

I'm using Cyberlinks PowerDVD Ultra since years.

It supports the latest high-end audio formats. Most free players don't support them.
