chatman64
Hello, I would like to change my ryzen server currently with windows 10 and drivebender runs on Unraid 6.4. I have already read a lot and made some tests. I could make everything successful VM, Docker, Plex, GPU Passtrougth works perfectly. Now I want to pull all my data, but before I move 16TB of data I need help with the right filesystem. Drive 1 HGST 8 TB > Parity Drive 2 HGST 8 TB > Disk 1 Drive 3 WD 5 TB > Disk 2 Drive 4 WD 5 TB > Disk 3 Drive 5 WD 5 TB > Disk 4 Drive 6 WD 4 TB > Disk 5 Drive 7 SSD 960 EVO WD 512 GB > Unassinged Device for VM´s Drive 8 Kingston SSD 256 GB > Chache 32GB non ECC RAM is installed. which file system would you recommend to me? I'm just wavering between xfs, btrf, encrypted xfs or encrypted btrf. I want to continue to exploit the gigabit network speed >that worked in the first test with xfs without encryption and chache ssd. It is a lot of media files, music and personal documents. many thanks for your help. Please excuse my bad english. Edited January 28, 2018 by chatman64 Quote Link to comment
