January 28, 20188 yr When setting up bond0 should the mtu be set to the higher of the 2 network interfaces? Or should I even be doing that I currently have eth0 as mtu 1500 and eth1 and eth2 are set to 9000 my 2 pc's are peer to peer with my unRAID box on 10GB mellanox cards no switch
January 28, 20188 yr It is recommended to use the same type of connections in a bonded interface. Don't mix 10G and 1G interfaces. When eth1 and eth2 are bond members they will take the settings as set for eth0.
