Ray Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 I currently use this (commercial) software to keep my Gdrive synced on Linux and it works great!) I'm also running their headless install in a VM on unRAID but think a docker would be very nice to have. There are a couple dockers out there, https://github.com/oneguynick/insync https://hub.docker.com/r/bogclay/insync-headless/, but not knowing enough about Dockers, I haven't tried them.
CHBMB Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 Problem with commercial software like this is very often putting it into a container will be against the terms of the license.
Ray Posted January 29, 2018 Author Posted January 29, 2018 I was able to get this one running pretty easily https://hub.docker.com/r/garrettheath4/docker-insync/ The Insync app pulls in the license so it should be fine with them?'

Maybe, maybe not, as what they're actually doing by pushing it to docker hub is redistributing the software, not necessarily about the licensing of your purchase, but the license under which the software is released, redistribution is often not allowed. Won't affect you as an end-user, but may get the docker author in trouble theoretically.
