January 30, 20188 yr Community Expert Do you only have 2GB RAM? That is going to be a little tight for anything but basic NAS functionality.
January 30, 20188 yr Author Yes I believe its 2GB, I was ruining version 5 and just upgraded to 6.4 version about 2 weeks. What is recommend for the ram size?
January 30, 20188 yr Community Expert Depends on what you want to do with the server. I would go for at least 8 if the motherboard will allow it.
January 30, 20188 yr Author I'm using the server primarily for Plex and Plex's channel. I just wasnt sure if the 2gb is enough for that. Is there anything out of the ordinary or suspicious in the log that is causing the low memory issue or is it simply that I don't have enough RAM? Edited January 30, 20188 yr by flybynite
January 30, 20188 yr Community Expert I would say that if you are running any applications at all then 2GB isn't enough.

January 30, 20188 yr Author Thank you trurl and tdallen I will update the ram to 8GB and give it a shot.
