How to format a new precleared unassigned disk?

Hi,

 

I like to format a newly precleared 8 TB disk which shows as precleard FS under unassigned devices. There is a format button but it is greyed out and pressing it doesn't do anything. How can format it? I then like to copy over data from 2 4 TB disk and use these disks in a RAD0 volume for parity. I don't have an 8 TB parity disk yet.

    Configure browser push notifications
    Chrome (Android)
    1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
    2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
    3. Adjust your preference.
    Chrome (Desktop)
    1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
    2. Select Site settings.
    3. Find Notifications and adjust your preference.
