Trouble installing High Sierra on unRAID 6.4

Featured Replies

A few hours ago I tried to install High Sierra on a unRAID VM following SpaceInvaders tutorial video. However, when I came to the step at 10:00 the VM reboots and kicks me back to clover instead of loading the recovery tool. This happens each time and the process loops. Has anyone else experienced this or know how to solve it?

I've tried to press  Command-R when it reboots to open Recovery Mode, but without luck. It's not reacting to a keyboard either through VNC or plugged into the machine. Keyboard only works in clover.

You either did something wrong, didn't follow directions, or possibly (what happened to me) was the installer usb wasn't made correctly and the install was somehow corrupted which would halt the process for me.

try recreating the usb, and then the image.

that too....

I had the same problem and redid everything twice (including the USB stick).  Nothing changes.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Seeing as we've specified the solution, I'm not entirely sure what "the same problem" is.

Perhaps you'd get more luck posting in the extensive thread that has already been created and being a little (a lot) more descriptive in your issues and what steps you've done thus far.
