Big mistake made? Can I recover? - Hopefully I've not lost my dockers

Featured Replies

I've just upgraded from 6.3.5 to 6.4 and on rebooting, my cache drive was unmountable due to an unsupported partition layout and it offered to format it.

Before doing that, I thought I'd check what's using the cache drive in my shares, as I didn't think I was using it anyway and nothing was, so I went ahead to format.

After it was formatted, I checked my dockers and there's nothing there. Then the sudden realisation that all my dockers were running from the cache drive :-[

Can someone please tell me I've not lost all my dockers and their settings?

I don't know if it helps, but I used CA Backup / Restore Appdata?

You should be able to restore you appdata folder using CA Backup / Restore.  Then, after re-enabling Docker and creating a new docker.img, you can go back into CA and use the Previously Installed tab to reinstall your Dockers - it should have the settings you used last time for each one.

Ah ha, you, my friend, are a legend and a life saver!!! ;D

4 out of the 5 dockers are back up and running!

Now just to get LetsEncrypt running. The docker won't start and I don't get any messages in the logs? Any ideas on that one?

Glad to hear it!

Unfortunately I'm not using LetsEncrypt right now.  There is a support thread for it, though:
