No format option (Solved)

Featured Replies

Sorry to be back here so soon, Need a little more help.
I added a disk to the my array, the system cleared the disk but the option to format it never arrived. It is part of the array, but it does not have a file system and has a little "new device" blue dot next to it. The only thing I have available where the format option would be is a parity check.

Most likely due to a bad SATA cable, replace the SATA cable and try again, also upgrade to latest stable and you'll get warned if there are more similar errors, if you have notifications enable.
